There’s an option for a ceremony-only package here for 75 guests, or you can choose an elopement or full destination wedding where you have a reception on site as well.

If you opt for the latter, guests can move throughout the property for cocktail hour before gathering beneath the venue’s signature sailcloth tent for the reception. The open-air tent feels elegant without being overly formal, creating the perfect setting for dinner, dancing, and celebrating while still enjoying the ocean breeze and surrounding views. As the sun sets and the lighthouse begins to glow, the atmosphere becomes even more magical.

The property itself is designed to feel more like a private coastal retreat than a traditional wedding venue. Beautiful landscaping, stone walkways, oceanfront patios, and cozy gathering spaces give guests plenty of places to relax throughout the day. Nearly every corner of the property offers another incredible photo opportunity, whether you’re overlooking the water, walking the pathways around the grounds, or taking portraits with the lighthouse in the background.

Getting ready is just as enjoyable here. The Viewpoint offers dedicated getting-ready spaces, including a studio created specifically for wedding mornings, along with beautifully designed suites filled with natural light. Couples and their wedding party can settle in, enjoy a slower start to the day, and stay close to all of the day’s events without needing to travel between locations.

One thing that makes The Viewpoint especially unique is that it also functions as a boutique hotel. With luxury suites and shoreside rooms available on-site, many couples choose to turn their wedding into a full weekend experience, giving family and friends extra time together while enjoying everything York has to offer.
