If you want a wedding venue that emulates romance, Floriana is just that. This Massachuesetts wedding venue, with it’s Georgian-style mansion and lush grounds, is filled with historical charm and beauty.

This wedding day at Floriana will go down as one of my favorites! These two college sweethearts were so sweet to capture and they fully embraced and enjoyed every minute of their day. They had such a great group of people coming together to celebrate them – and in the most beautiful place! The night ended in the most fun way – they got sunglasses for the dance floor and when you were handed them, you had to break out in dance! This whole day was a blast from start to finish!

Massachuesetts Wedding Venue: Floriana

Floriana, located just 25 miles north of Boston, is a stunning historical estate situated along the Ipswitch River. It’s Georgian-style mansion is incredibly romantic, and it can comfortably seat up to 200 guests indoors in the ballroom. To reach the venue, you drive down a beautiful long driveway to find it siting among lush greenery, which provides plenty of privacy for your event.

The ceremony site with a line of flowering trees is absolutely stunning, and the bride’s entrance with the mansion as a backdrop was one I won’t forget! What I love most about this venue is just how much beauty is everywhere on the property, which means plenty of different opportunities for photos that will give you a variety in your gallery.

During peak season weddings, you also have access to a Sailcloth tent, where you and your guests can celebrate outdoors comfortably – plus it let’s in the most gorgeous natural light! There are also three large prep suites on the second floor of the mansion that couples can utilize for their wedding. They each have private bathrooms and are very spacious to accommodate the wedding party getting ready, or even just as a space to gather together.

The details of this venue are to die for. There are so many vintage architectural details throughout the mansion, with it’s elegant chandeliers, hardwood floors, three grand fireplaces, and stunning French doors that overlook the gardens. But I absolutely loved the grand stairway that’s perfect for making an unforgettable entrance!

Weddings at Floriana

One of the biggest benefits of hosting a wedding at Floriana is having access to the event coordinators to give you guidance and support. You will be able to meet with one of them 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding day to make sure your wedding is executed perfectly.

You can also choose full-service planning where they would help you choose vendors, help with timeline management and budget management, handle event design, and more. It takes away so much of the stress of wedding planning, and you can hand off all of these tasks to an expert instead!
