From sandy beaches to rocky coastline views, these Maine beach wedding venues are some of the prettiest spots along the coast.

It’s easy to see why couples are drawn to coastal Maine for their wedding day. Between the quiet beach towns, rocky shoreline views, and cooler summer weather, it has a really slow-paced and naturally beautiful feel to it. The scenery here doesn’t need much added to it either, whether it’s a ceremony overlooking the water, portraits on the beach at sunset, or a reception with ocean views in the background.
One of the best things about coastal Maine is how varied it feels from town to town. Some areas feel more classic and upscale, while others are quieter and tucked away, which gives couples a lot of flexibility depending on the kind of wedding they want to have. From waterfront inns to larger oceanfront resorts, there are so many beautiful beach wedding venues throughout Maine that feel inviting, scenic, and easy to settle into for a full wedding weekend.

A wedding at Sebasco Harbor Resort & Golf Club really gives you that classic coastal Maine feel. Tucked along the Midcoast in Phippsburg, the property sits right on the water with rocky shoreline views, sailboats in the harbor, and a mix of wooded areas and open lawn space throughout the resort. It feels quiet and tucked away, which makes it especially nice for couples wanting more of a full wedding weekend experience instead of just a single day at a venue.
One of the biggest draws of Sebasco is how much variety there is across the property for both ceremonies and receptions. Couples can exchange vows overlooking the harbor with the ocean in the background, then move into one of the resort’s reception spaces for dinner and dancing afterward. The grounds feel very naturally beautiful on their own, so the venue works just as well for something more elevated and elegant as it does for a relaxed coastal wedding. The waterfront views, marina, and classic Maine architecture all photograph beautifully too, especially around sunset.
The resort also makes it easy to turn the wedding into a full weekend with guests staying right on-site. There are several different lodging options throughout the property, including cottages, suites, and lodge-style accommodations, which gives everyone plenty of space to spread out and settle in. Between the coastal views, golf course, waterfront activities, and overall slower pace of the property, Sebasco Harbor Resort really feels like one of those venues where guests can fully enjoy the beauty of Maine.

A wedding at The Tides Beach Club feels very classic coastal Maine in the best way. Located right across from Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, the venue has a relaxed oceanfront feel that’s simple, elegant, and not overly formal. The beach itself is one of the biggest draws here, with long stretches of sand, soft dunes, and calm water views that create such a beautiful backdrop for a wedding weekend.
Ceremonies are typically held directly on the beach, which gives couples that true waterfront Maine setting without needing a huge production around it. The venue can host intimate weddings right on the sand with a custom altar setup and seating overlooking the ocean, and then guests can head just steps away into the hotel for cocktail hour and the reception afterward. Inside, the spaces feel bright and coastal with modern New England design, lots of natural light, and ocean views throughout the property. The Sun Porch is especially beautiful for smaller dinners, cocktail hours, or rehearsal events since it overlooks the water and has a really relaxed atmosphere to it.
One of the nicest parts about planning a wedding here is how easy it is to turn everything into a full weekend experience. The hotel itself has guest rooms on-site, and couples can even do a full property buyout so friends and family are all staying together near the beach. Between the front porch overlooking the water, the beach access, and the quieter feel of Goose Rocks Beach compared to other coastal Maine towns, there are so many spots around the grounds that work beautifully for portraits and candid moments throughout the day.
Planning a wedding at Harpswell Inn feels very personal and slow-paced in a way that’s hard to find at larger venues. Set right along the water in Harpswell, Maine, the inn has a quiet coastal feel with stunning ocean views, a rocky shoreline, lobster boats in the harbor, and a historic New England style throughout the property. It’s the kind of venue that feels naturally beautiful without needing much added to it, which makes it especially ideal for couples wanting something intimate and scenic along the Maine coast.
Ceremonies are typically held outside on the waterfront lawn overlooking Middle Bay, where guests can watch the sunset over the water during the evening. The property itself sits on a point, so there are water views in almost every direction, which makes the entire day feel very connected to the coast. Receptions can take place inside the inn or outdoors under a tent depending on the wedding setup and guest count, which can feel incredibly romantic. The wraparound porch, lawn space, and harbor views all give guests plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the property throughout the night.
Conveniently, your guests can also stay right on the property and turn your wedding day into a full wedding weekend. The guest rooms and suites on-site have the most adorable charm that speaks to Maine and it’s coastal feel. There’s also plenty of beautiful opportunities for portraits around the property with the waterfront lawn and Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay, the docks with a fun vibe, and of course, just the gorgeous exterior of the inn. This couldn’t be a more timeless and romantic location for a wedding here in Maine!

Sitting high above the ocean in Cape Neddick, Cliff House overlooks the rocky shoreline with panoramic water views in almost every direction. The setting itself is one of the biggest reasons couples are drawn here, because it feels upscale and modern while still very connected to the natural beauty of the Maine coast.
Ceremonies are often held outside on the North Point Lawn overlooking the water, where you can have a really dramatic oceanfront backdrop while you say your vows. For receptions, the Atlantic Ballroom is one of the main event spaces and has huge floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean, so you can continue to enjoy the the coastal views through the evening. There are also indoor options for ceremonies or cocktail hours, which is especially nice for Maine weather since everything flows easily no matter the season.
There are also luxury guest rooms and suites on site, as well as restaurants, a spa, pools, and beautiful walking paths, giving your guests so much to enjoy about the property. There’s so much natural beauty here everywhere you look, so you will have no shortage of locations for portraits as well. It’s a venue that feels elevated and gives you exactly what you’d want from a New England escape.
French’s Point sits right along the water in Stockton Springs, Maine, with the classic, beautiful shoreline, quiet beaches, gardens, wooded paths, and ocean views spread across the grounds. It has a very secluded feel to it, giving it an extra romantic and intimate vibe. One of the things that makes French’s Point stand out is how flexible the property is for weddings. There are several different ceremony locations throughout the estate, whether you want a ceremony overlooking the ocean, tucked into the gardens, or right near the shoreline.
Cocktail hours often spill out across the terraces and lawn spaces with views of the water, while receptions are usually held under the large sailcloth tent overlooking the coast. The tent itself feels open and airy rather than overly formal, really connecting you to the outdoors. The getting-ready experience here also feels very different from a lot of traditional venues since there are multiple houses and suites spread throughout the estate.
French’s Point has on-site accommodations for a large portion of guests, including several separate homes with coastal-style interiors, private decks, and water views throughout the property. It gives everyone space to settle in and actually enjoy the weekend together instead of rushing in and out for a single day event. Overall, it’s the kind of venue that feels elevated and scenic without losing that relaxed Maine coastal atmosphere people travel there for in the first place.
Marianmade Farm is a working lavender and flower farm in Wiscasset, set along the Sheepscot River that has gorgeous gardens, views of the water, and walking paths throughout the grounds. Everything here feels soft, colorful, and really connected to the landscape around it. During the growing season especially, the farm is full of flowers and greenery almost everywhere you look, which makes the entire property feel incredibly peaceful and naturally beautiful.
Ceremonies are often held outside overlooking the water or surrounded by the gardens, and the scenery really does most of the work on its own. Receptions take place inside the Lavender Drying House, a timber-frame barn space that feels bright, open, and refined rather than heavy or overly rustic. The reception area flows nicely out onto the surrounding lawn spaces too, so guests can move around the property throughout the evening instead of feeling confined to one room all night. One of the nicest things about Marianmade is that every part of the venue feels thoughtfully designed without losing that relaxed Maine farm atmosphere.
The natural beauty here is overwhelmingly romantic, creating the perfect setting for a wedding!
Tucked away in Georgetown along the rocky shoreline, Grey Havens Inn has that classic New England feel with weathered shingles, oceanfront lawns, wraparound porches, and views of the water in nearly every direction. The simplicity and charm of this venue is what makes it such a standout. Ceremonies are usually held on the lawn overlooking the harbor and rocky coastline, and the setting feels especially beautiful in the evening when the light starts coming across the water. For smaller weddings, receptions can take place inside the inn at BLUE restaurant or out on the covered porch, while larger weddings often use a tented setup on the lawn facing the ocean.
The inn itself also makes the weekend feel very relaxed since guests can stay right on-site in the coastal-inspired guest rooms overlooking the bay. Getting ready here feels simple and easy in the best way, with soft natural light coming through the windows, ocean views throughout the property, and enough separate spaces for everyone to spread out before the ceremony. Around the grounds, there are so many spots that work beautifully for portraits too, from the classic Maine shoreline and harbor views to the gardens, porches, and quiet little corners around the inn. Overall, Grey Havens has a very understated kind of elegance to it that feels especially fitting for couples wanting a wedding that’s scenic, inviting, and deeply connected to coastal Maine.
