I’ve known Maddy since our undergrad years. Back when we’d get together and daydream and giggle about her and Andy saying their “I do’s” which made this sunflower field elopement even more magical!

On a Thursday, Maddy and Andy had a small elopement, starting with an intimate ceremony on Cadillac Mountain for only their closest family. That following weekend their wedding reception began, but not before we got the chance to do something else first: go frolicking in a field of sunflowers! As you can probably tell from the photos, Maddy and Andy fit into the field of flowers perfectly. Their radiant selves glowing amongst the field of stunning bright yellow sunflowers. Everything and everyone seemed to be smiling (myself included)! 

After our field frolicking, we headed to the venue not too far down the road where everyone was anxiously awaiting their arrival. As the doors opened, announcing them as Mr. and Mrs. everyone burst into a loud roar of excitement! After that, the party began! The charming and rustic building of Rivermill made for the perfect venue (just look at the beautiful brick walls!). The day positively overflowed with endless laughter, great food (check out the cake!), and unforgettable dance moves. 

Lastly, Maddy and Andy ran through a tunnel of sparklers held by their friends and family. This sunflower field elopement was filled with happiness, smiles, and sweet moments – one that I will always hold close to my heart. You just might too after you look at all the lovely photos!
