Backyard Wedding in Kennebunkport

Capturing Allison & Ryan’s backyard Kennebunkport wedding at such a beautiful private residence was just unforgettable! There was so much about this day that was so special. I was so glad that I was able to be a part of it!

Allison’s parents had recently purchased this home in Kennebunkport right around when her and Ryan were engaged. After walking the property, Allison & Ryan just knew this is where they would want to do their wedding! They decided on a ceremony space right near a large rock that would have been to large to move. Instead they incorporated it into their ceremony design!

They created a stone circle and set up the ceremony so that they could be completely surrounded by their family & friends! Allison loved the symbolism of it, with a circle symbolizing eternity.

There was also a covered bridge on the property where they filled the inside with photos from throughout their relationship, so basically a real life memory lane & it was so special!

Allison also got a surprise from Ryan and her parents with her favorite pier fries! They walked her out from dancing and there was her own fry shack. I loved watching her face just light up!

Backyard weddings create such an intimate and incredibly special day, that gives couples so many ways to customize it to exactly who they are. It was such a pleasure being a part of this one!
