When Covid-19 caused two separate wedding postponements for this adoring couple, Madi and Brian made the exciting decision to elope in 2021. They didn’t want any other unexpected delays to their big plans. 

Although they had already tied the knot during their elopement, they still wanted to gather with friends and family to celebrate their love in the perfect backyard wedding.

I traveled to their beautiful home in Vermont to capture their special day alongside their close friends and family. Just five minutes down the road from their home, we found the perfect mountainous backdrop for many of the photos you’ll see below. The vibrant green trees and sprawling fields made for the perfect scenery. 

The cozy boho-chic atmosphere they curated at the reception looked stunning amongst the nature surrounding it. It was such a pleasure getting to photograph their long-awaited celebration of love. I hope these photos remind you that sometimes… these memories are worth the wait.
