First and foremost, I must say, without them even knowing Erin and Adam had made my dreams come true! What do I mean you ask? WELL for years I had dreamt about photographing or even getting married in a treehouse myself. I had looked for one in Maine before and never had any luck, so when Erin reached out to me about getting married not only in the town over from where I grew up, but in a TREEHOUSE!!! I stood up from my laptop and squealed in disbelief!
Not only was the treehouse stunning in itself, but it was surrounded by Maine’s breath taking foliage, a few steps away from a sparkling lake, AND to top it all off, the most down to earth loving couple preparing to share their I do’s. Erin and Adam are two adventure seeking, mountain climbing, nature loving, genuine souls that traveled to Maine for what Erin explained to be “the ceremony they always wanted.” She mentioned that once she found the treehouse and saw that they could get married in the woods at such a magical location, she knew they found the place they’d promise forever to each other.
There were just too many amazing moments captured to only share a few here and there on social media, so I HAD to make a blog! I hope these photos give you that warm fuzzy feeling like they do for me. Enjoy. (:
